The decision registry is a free service for storing and re-validating your own architecture decisions from archpatterns.io. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Recommendations remain deterministic outputs of published rules, and an architectural decision remains the responsibility of the person who makes it. The main site's terms govern the underlying library and engine; this page governs the registry and the operator console.
You must be at least sixteen years old to register. Store only content you are entitled to store, and do not use the service to hold anyone's personal data. One account per person; do not attempt to circumvent the rate limits, the human check or the two-factor requirement, and do not run automated scanning against the service. Reporting a security issue through the contact page is welcome and will never be treated as a breach of these terms.
Your decisions are yours. Export them as JSON whenever you like, and delete your account and everything in it at any moment, both from inside the service. The privacy notice states exactly what is held, for how long, and who processes it.
The service is free. Paid tiers may exist in future, and the published position is that anything free at the time remains free; a paid plane would be an addition, not a fence around what you already have. If that ever changes materially, it will be announced on this page and in the changelog before it takes effect, never retroactively.
Nothing here excludes liability where the law does not permit it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and because the service is supplied free of charge, the operator's aggregate liability arising from your use of it is limited to fifty euro, and the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for the consequences of a decision you take. Reasonable effort is made to keep the service available and your data intact, but no uptime is promised and you should keep your own copy of anything that matters, which the export exists to make easy.
These terms may change with the service; a material change is published here with the release that carries it, and the changelog records the release, so what was in force when is inspectable rather than asserted. The operator may suspend or decline an account used abusively, which locks it out without deleting its data, and may withdraw the service, giving reasonable notice by email to account holders where circumstances allow, so that data can be exported first. You may leave at any time by deleting your account.
These terms are governed by the law of Poland, and its courts have jurisdiction, in neither case affecting mandatory consumer protections in your own country of residence. A consumer may also use the alternative dispute resolution routes available under Polish and European Union consumer law. The operator would much rather hear the complaint directly and fix it.
